Both programs will work with any P100+ that is configured with a serial communications port. P100+ logging software Your unit has a communications port if there is a connector located on the side of the unit.  There are 2 types of connectors these units are produced with: 9 pin (socket)   Units with a 9 pin (socket) connector use a straight-through serial cable to communicate with a computer.  Data is transmitted on pin 2, pin 5 is ground. 9 pin (pin) Units with a 9 pin (pin) connector use a null-modem serial cable to communicate with a computer. Data is transmitted on pin 3, pin 5 is ground.
Probe 100, without a communications port	If you have a version of the Probe 100 that does not have a communications port, you can have this feature added.  With the communications port and firmware upgrade, your unit will be able to output it's readings to your PC for data logging and later analysis.  To upgrade your P100, purchase the upgrade below, then send your unit to:  Powertronics 1433 Raymond Road Candia, NH, 03034 Include a copy of your receipt with the unit.  Upgrades generally take 2-3 business days to complete and include a full calibration.
